KACIE JUNE WALTERS
Kacie is a knowledge management professional with passion for science and technology and expertise in leading enterprise strategies and implementations, maximizing MOSS 2007, managing intellectual capital, using social media to increase virtual collaboration, facilitating cross-functional communities of practice, establishing proven-practice sharing processes and driving cultural change.
Kacie has 15 years experience in the fields of Training & Development, Corporate Communication and Knowledge Management. She has created three learning & knowledge functions from the ground up at three different organizations all focused on process improvement and measuring value. Kacie has consulted with a wide variety of organizations and cultures including private, public and start-up corporations, government and non-profit organizations.
She is a member of several knowledge management and collaboration professional groups. She is a founding volunteer of Bridge to Success - a non-profit organization dedicated to helping low-income, hard-to-employ people find jobs and build confidence to interview well. She graduated from Indiana University with a B.A. in Political Science and from the University of Illinois with a M.A. in Communication. Kacie is based in the Chicagoland area. |
